Just went over to Colombian Chicken on 63rd (Drive?) in Rego Park where for $3.95 I had a pile of eggs scrambled with leeks and tomatoes and a delicious arepa topped with two kinds of cheese. The arepa wasn't dried out like at Tierras Colombianas (I had recommended that place eons ago but for reasons I will not state here, will never go back), and I saw a happy couple leave with a big roast chicken for $7.45.
Cafe con leche (extra) was good too.
Afterwards, I went over to Paula Stevens for some burekas (cheese, potato, eggplant and spinach). She said I was just in time, that she was usually sold out by 1:00, and not to heat them up in the microwave.
