Hi All! I quick post about my dining last week (5 days).

The Raddisson is nice but of course a full mile from nearest restaurant on wharf or State Street and the Electric Shuttle only runs every 35 minutes. So I was limited to going when I could get a ride.

First night someone took me to Big Yellow House just out of town. It was okay but not great. The Crab Cakes were terrible - all filler. The steak lokked better but not cheap for quality. Still - though I ordered wrong, it was okay.

The Super Rica was so touted that I HAD to go there. Got folks the first afternoon and was astounded at the prices (CHEAP!!) And good quality. We then went over to State St to get ice cream at Coldstone. (Never order more than a medium. It is HUGE!

That night did Joes on State St. And The Fish and Chips at $5.75 are a steal and delish!

Back to Super Rica the next day for dinner and a diferent dish.

Lunch on Saturday was at the SB Brew Company. The burger was overcooked but the fries were great and the beer good too. For Dinner, Back to Super Rica. Always got in!

Now for breakfast I was limited to the overpriced buffet at Raddison ($7.95, but only pastries, cereal and coffee) or the East Beach Grill across the St. On the Beach. So I did EB Grill. It was expensive for Breakfast to many but I found the portions huge. For two days I had the great Banana Wheat Germ Pancakes - half order - two HUGE cakes - are $5.00 plus $1.50 for coffee. These are a must if at that end of beach.

Saturday PM I got to walk the historic area and caught two trolleys back to hotel. The weather was great but colder than I expected so never got into ocean.

Rest of time spent at Sound REcording Convention at Radisson and UCSB Campus!

Anyway, thanks for the info others replied.

If you need info on Philly, PA .. just give a shout!
