met hubby for lunch today (disclaimer: we had a restaurant.com certificate for 25 bucks, so for what we had it was very "cheap", if you don't it's a touch more expensive, but well worthit in my humbel opinion)
split a bowl of the much talked about snapper soup (5.25) yummm! never had it before but loved it, they served it with a little conatiner of sherry and some le bus bread.
i had the sesame ginger tuna, rare (9.50), it was very good, sushi like tuna and quite big for lunch (5 big pieces), i traded in my 2 sides for a salad (large, but plain, dressing was ok)
hubby had the chilean sea bass special (11.50)(please no lectures - it's his favorite and he was having a bad day:)). It was fresh (not previously frozen, and devine. Served with carmelized onions, dates, raisins and pine nuts, it may have been the most wonderful fish i have ever eaten! Sides were ok, he picked the veggie (asparagus) and fries (didn't really go together but all of their sides are a bit weak.
all in all a great start to the week!
