Sanibel & Captiva

Zin | Jul 8, 200410:22 PM     1

Arrived yesterday and have found a couple of "Good Eats."
Doc Ford's is above average and they have a great selection on Rums (not cheap).
The BEST happy hour is at Jacaranda. 2 for 1 wells, beers, and wine. Had 4 Belle Terre Chardonnays and 4 rum & cokes and it was only $17.00.
The appetizers are also discounted. 1/2 pound of mussels in a delicious broth (4.95), 1/2 pound steamed warm shrimp (4.95), and a nice size serving of sushi grade tuna, with wasbi, seaweed, and a sweet soy dipping sauce (5.95) plus fresh baked bread and butter. In other words, It Was Dinner.
Will post later after next couple of meals.
