San Diego's Local-Mussel Dishes

DoctorChow | Sep 9, 201412:26 PM     21

San Diego is known for it's excellent local beers and close-to-their-origins fish tacos. But it seems to me that we have another, largely unsung local specialty: Dishes built around our great local mussels.

For example, there's the superb mussel bisque at Dobson's; the wonderful linguine alle cozze at Baci; and, although I've yet to try it, the mussels with chorizo at the new Bottega Americana as reported by foodiechick.

What are your favorite local-mussel dishes in San Diego?
