The author mentions the SakéOne brewery in Forest Grove, OR (about 25 mi SW of Portland). They have a number of brand names but Momokawa is probably the most well-known. I've been to SakéOne several times and I'm a regular consumer of their products.
If you see it on your local shelves, grab a bottle, chill it and drink it with everything from fresh fruit & stinky cheese to grilled meat/game to broiled poultry & steamed fish. It's delicious!
