While this may not seem very "chowhoundish," it is a wonderful way to spend a few hours.
Choice of soup or salad (pretty good caeser), choice of prime rib, chicken, or salmon, and choice or bread pudding or creme brulle(sp?). I had the salad and the prime rib. Both were exactly as they should be, dressed and cooked to perfection, respectively. As for portions, I'm a big eater, and I couldn't finish it. No dessert. Service was, as always, outstanding.
But the best part? You're saving so much money on the prime rib, you can have a martini, then a glass of cabernet with your lunch, and an espresso to end, and still sneak out for slightly less than $50.
Now you'll have to excuse me while I nap away the afternoon.....
