I am looking for a restaurant for lunch near Termini on a Thursday (maybe with Gnocchi since it's Thurs?) because we arrive at Fiumicino around 11AM and leave from Ciampino at 5pm. We plan to come into Rome and leave our luggage at Termini and have lunch. We will be hungry and tired, so I'm looking for somewhere that won't be long to get to. The closest places I've found that sound interesting are in Monti, is there a better option?
We return to Rome for our final day and I think we will have pizza for lunch and maybe another stop. Are wine bars like Cul de Sac and Enoteca Provincia Romana open for lunch?
For our last dinner (Tuesday) I am looking at Ristorante Il Sanpietrino (because Mario Batali recommends it) and some favorites I've seen listed on Chow-- La Campana, Roma Sparita, Matricianella, or Trattoria Da Oio. Any suggestions for somewhere with some ambiance but won't be more than 75 euro per person including wine? On our last trip we loved Al Bric and thought Grappolo d'Oro Zampano was good but not memorable. We are staying in Campo de Fiori and walking distance is a plus but not a deal-breaker.
