I checked the archives, but I'm asking you... I want a place for my upcoming romantic special occasion (I'm not mentioning anything about anniversaries... there's been way too much of that-) that is romantic in that kind of goofy, super dark room with candles and flowers and maybe opera playing softly in the background sort of way. Not so fancy that we're self conscious, but nicer than just a regular night out kind of place. We're not looking for geese or swans. Did I say dark? A little table in the corner kind of place. Like a cliché of a romantic restaurant, you know? What do you think? Our 'romantic restaurant' by habit has been Chianti, but we're thinking someplace different might be nice, and maybe closer to our 'hood (Los Feliz/Silverlake/Hollywood.) Cheesy is not a turn-off, if the food is good, and the room is, you know, dark.

Soooo...any suggestions?
