Went with 3 couples the other night. I know the board lately has been saying it's gone downhill, but we found it quite good. I actually found it better than when I first went and, as per board comments, found the waiters snooty (Hollywood wannabes) and the portions skimpy. This time we had a knowledgeable waitress. We each ordered an appetizer and pasta. They recommend also getting a secondi but none of us ending up feelling that that would have been necessary to have a sense of being comfortably filled. True, the pasta dishes weren't copious but they weren't overly small either and the combination appetizer/pasta seemed filling enough. I had the tripe which I thought was quite good and then a wild board with ribbon noodle pasta dish. We had a few side disshes of rapini and a few desserts. The only criticism I would have is that the wine list is a bit expensive -- no wines under 30 and very few under 35-40.
