Some years back there was a fantastic place on I think Centre Street that had the best sliced roast pork and roast duck I ever had. Just tin pie plates full of whichever you wanted, with a little bit of pan juice or sauce if you wanted that as well. And cheap...five bucks a plate, maybe? Like the street vendors who sold the same meats from little carts along Canal Street, which I don't see much anymore. Anyway, the place, whose name I don't recall, closed and I've been looking for something like it ever since. Just the meats. Not interested in veg. Any recommendations?
