The DINING ROOM at the RC is closing in a couple of days and we decided to go for one last Dinner. After Twenty years it's hard to believe the restaurant is being remodeled into a Lounge.
The Chef was kind enough to prepare a marvelous Tasting Menu. Definitely the best meal we have ever had there over the years, wouldn't you know it they saved the best for last.
Ahi rolled with Ginger and Scallions w/wasabi cream
Black Mussels with Dungeness Crab "purse" w/Corn Chowder poured over it tableside.
Roasted Lobster removed from Shell w/butter cream
Giant Fresh Scallop topped with Seared Foie Gras
Colo Lamb Loin with a Rosemary, Pecan crust w/squash blossom.
Total Cheese Cart bonanza(10 types)
Several Deserts (seven people)
With only 2 days left I strongly recommend a quick visit for some of the best food on the Coast.
