Ric's Grill Lethbridge- Worst service ever

We went to Ric's for like the 3rd time, and I don't know why. The food has been fantastic every time, don't get me wrong, the best in Lethbridge for the most part. So we have a reservation, there is 3 people in the place, they put us right beside another group of people, one of which is in a wheel chair, so my chair is right in her way if she has to go to the washroom etc. I understand servers have sections so not going to get picky. The server takes our drink order, all is well. We make our food order, mine is a special so it is quick and painless, my wife orders a Top Sirloin and asks if she can have mushrooms substituted for the fried onions on her steak. The server confirms that she can do this and away she goes. We get the food in a decent timeframe, and the wife's meal comes out. She gets a Fillet Mignon, bacon wrapped with everything she asked for. She is not the most savvy restaurant goer, so she eats it, I ask her why there is bacon on her plate afterwards, she tells me it was wrapped around the steak, which tipped me off that she had received the wrong meal.

The server comes and takes everything away, we mention that the steak was wrong, and that it was not a big deal, she tells us that the menu is screwed up and that Fillet Mignon and Top Sirloin are the same thing. I am from Alberta, I pride myself on knowing my steaks. I tell her that she is mistaken, so she basically ignores me and brings our bill. A Fillet Mignon is on the bill, at about $10 dollars more than what the wife had ordered, and for about 10 mushroom pieces we were charged $5 which was never mentioned.

We ask her why she would ring in a fillet when it is not the same, she makes some comment about it being the same and there being an issue with the menu. Right. We ask her why she never told us that it was $5 dollars to substitute Mushrooms, she then says....Do you want me to do something about this?

What the hell? Asking us if we would like things to be fixed. Go get your manager for crying out loud. I just said no, and we left. We never go there, it is just the gift card of choice for people who have never been.
