Not long ago, in a restaurant, I was served a dish on a beautiful, flawless, shiny, bright green banana leaf. I can't remember where I was, or what the item was that was "plated" on the leaf, but I do remember it was stunning. It may not have been in SoFL at all, as I travel quite a bit.
If you've seen banana leaves used in this way locally, please chime in and help me fill in the blank.
I am looking to source about 5 dozen for a food project I am doing next week.
