Restaurant similar to FOGO DE CHAO (not a Brazilian Steakhouse)

CrusherCurtis | Jan 21, 201709:11 AM     6

Short Story:
Need a nice restaurant with generous portions or all you can eat. Girlfriend wants to play dress up this weekend and had FDC yesterday with her job.

Long story:
I'll start from the beginning. My girlfriend in the past told me she likes to try different restaurants. We've been trying different restaurants for the past 10 months. I've been researching restaurants using yelp reviews and went to a couple by friends suggestions. (Disclaimer: My friends and I aren't foodies, don't know a lot of places and don't really care in particular.) Every place I've taken her to she hasn't liked for the most part. So after months of sitting across from (or next to) an unhappy woman, I decided to call it quits. No more nice restaurants for us. She commented recently that she would still like every once in a while to go to a nice dinner dressed up. So I planned to take her to Fogo De Chao this weekend. At this point I just want to be happy with the AMOUNT OF FOOD I GET FOR MY MONEY and I've always heard this restaurant is great for that. Well surprise! she had it last night through her job. I need a plan B quick. Any suggestions
