I'm looking for the best pastry chef in LA, not including bakeries and cafes. Rather I want a plated dessert pastry chef. I feel sure that there have been other chains on this, but I couldn't find something to fit my needs. Price and location do not matter. I am looking for the best chef and not the best dessert - I've found a couple of best dessert lists. This is a chef who consistently puts out delicious desserts - preferably with a changing rather than fixed menu. Recommendataions I've received so far include Hatfields and Spagos. Surely there are more than this. Help!
