First, thanks for all the help and advice from Chowhounds. We just got back from New Orleans and want to comment on three restaurants: Galatoire's: classic New Orleans with fine food and atmosphere. We have been there a number of times, and it is always good. Nola: food was good, but place was too loud. Maybe great for the young majority, but too much "energy" for my taste. Not a relaxing dining experience. Bayona: ah, heaven! Everything, and I do mean everything, was perfect. This was one of the best experiences we have had in the US. We will return to, and recommend, Bayona.
