I remember a product that (I believe) used to be produced by Stella d"Oro.
It was a dense hard flower shaped "cookie" with a hole in the center. It had a shiny exterior and was very dry, but practically melted in your mouth after you started chewing.
It tasted a bit eggy, not very sweet at all.
My grandmother used to buy them and I am dying for that little bit of nostalgia.
Is anyone here familiar with them? What were they called? Is there possibly another company that makes them?
