Anyone remember Dakota's (?) ice cream in New Haven, CT? [moved from New England]

About 20 years ago there was a small ice cream shop in the Westville area, right next to Tommy K's video (I think it was eventually called Tommy's ice cream) that served THE BEST cookie dough ever made. It wasn't vanilla with bits of nasty fake cookie dough, it was cookie dough FLAVORED ice cream. I'm trying now to recreate the recipe at home, I just wish I had some suggestions from anyone who remembers it, or maybe any info on the ice cream shop if it still exists anywhere. The shop also served "blend-ins" which were basically the same as a blizzard, just with better ice cream. I believe they also had a location downtown by Yale. Thanks!
