I have a box of pillsbury cake mix that i want to use but i'm a little worried. Inside the box are packets of cream cheese frosting as well as caramel (it's for their pumpkin delight). The box has been sitting in our pantry for months now.
I know cream cheese frosting (and cream cheese in general) needs to be refrigerated, but my friend insists that this is different because it was probably sealed in the packets and that we only need to put it in the fridge after we open it (like with canned food, she claims).
Who is right? And I want to know about the caramel as well
i really want to make this lol
