Red Mango (Frozen yogurt), Palo Alto report

hhc | May 30, 200806:12 AM     5

I've been wanting to eat here ever since I found out it's open, plus I wanted to see Yul Kwon, the Bay Area winner of Survivor Cook Islands, supposedly an owner of this store-bummed I didn't see him.

It's clean & bright, w/ a bunch of chairs facing the 2 glass windows, some tables on the side too.

They let you sample the two flavors they have: Original or Green Tea. Green tea is more expensive.

Original prices:
Small 4oz= $2.95 (1/2 cup-90 calories)/ Med 8oz= $3.95 (180 calories)/ Large (270 calories) 12 oz= $6.95
Green tea flavor: Small: $3.95/Med $4.95/Large $7.45

I got:
Small original w/ 2 toppings: mochi & blueberries $3.20 (I had a $1 off coupon). I let it sit too long and it was melting, so eat it quickly!

I thought it was ok, pretty average. I did like the mochi very soft & chewy. Blueberries seemed ok.

They have other fresh fruit & other toppings that I don't remember.

Didn't ask if they take credit cards.

It's across the street from Michael's Gelato/Border's, near Cafe Del Doge.
