I just returned from a week's stay in SMA and want to recommend a cooking class that I took with a friend on the recommndation of our hotel concierge. The chef is Gaby Green, who used to own a couple of restaurants in town. It is totally hands on, she picks you up and you go to market, then back to her home, where you cook and eat. Was $100 US per person including the food, and she gives you the recipes for everything you made (and you can basically pick and choose, depending on your taste and what is in season). BTW, she is totally fluent in English should that be a concern. And she makes a killer margarita.
