I owe you a huge debt of gratitude. We ate there last night, and the words that leap to mind are celestial....sublime.....marvelous......
DH opted for special appy of portobello, mozzerella, and baby spinach. I went with the fried calamari. We both had pastas; his manilla clams in white sauce, mine the spinach lasagna with vegetables. He had la nonna for dessert (lemon cream tart with almonds) and I went with the profiteroles.
While I rarely order pastas, and almost never order dessert, I say to heck with the diet when you are in a place of this caliber. His pasta is hand made, and the desserts seem to be, too. Tears come to my eyes when I think about that lasagna.
