I typically cook for about four days of meals in advance, to accommodate my schedule and available time for cooking. A typical lunch staple for me is three or four roasted vegetables (which ones vary week to week) and some freshly cooked rice, which I typically prepare in a Japanese rice pressure cooker. What are some good sauces for rice and vegetable served together that I could make in bulk and then serve over the meal when I eat it?
I am a big fan of spicy sauces and curries. I love Mexican and Indian hot cuisines. If I am in a rush I will typically sprinkle some chipotle powder onto the meal and that is actually tasty alone. Some foods to avoid: I do not eat gluten or dairy. I would probably prefer either a sweeter sauce or a very spicy one to anything that is primarily fat-based.
So please share with me some of your favorite sauces for this type of food. Brownie points if you can point to a URL with the recipe and photos. :)
