Recipe for Nagasaki Castella (Japanese Sponge Cake)

I admit I'm fond of the vaguely sweet cake known as "Nagasaki Castella" - it's a variant of a Portuguese cake baked in Japan. On the store bought version I purchased, the ingredients listed are : egg powder, wheat flour, glutinous rice syrup, maltose, honey, soya lecithin, soy bean oil, msg, baking soda, milk powder.

Anyone ever seen a recipe for this? It has a pleasing texture one generally doesn't see in Western sponge cakes.
