I've just been to Prague and I had the most wondeful apple torte at the Café Cremería Milano, they call it Mónaco.
Is there a chance that somebody here has an idea of the recipe for the topping. The torte itself I think I can figure out, it seems to be layers of sponge cake and whipped cream but the topping was the best part. The apple was in shreds and mixed in with some kind of jammy spread but it wasn't too sweet or thick. I'd appreciate any ideas given. Thanks!
