For whom still does Receipt = Recipe?

Bada Bing | Nov 18, 201406:37 AM

Subject line says it all, sort of. But I'll add that I noticed one or two cases recently of "receipt" being used in this fashion. As a language geek, I'm curious if there's some demography or geography or whatever that explains that.

I did google around a bit, and saw some indications that it is a usage that became uncommon in Britain and in the USA after the 1960s. Where does it persist?
