Reasons to subscribe to Chownews

Hi -- I just wanted to say why I like subscribing to Chownews:

1. It lists ALL the addresses and phone numbers (and websites)of mentioned restaurants in one convenient place. I can print the list before making a trip to The City, and I don't have to post those pesky "Where is it?" messages to the board anymore.

2. When I'm away from my computer for several days, it helps me catch up in 'way less time than reading each entry. Now, when I check daily, I don't need this feature -- I just read the postings. But, sometimes life interferes with Chowhounding, and it can be very convenient to have a summary available. Whereas, my partner doesn't have time for the Board, and just reads Chownews.

3. It supports the website. I want Chowhound to be here. I believe in supporting small businesses that I want to survive. It's inexpensive enough to be no big deal money-wise -- don't we spend $15 on a lunch sometimes? Chowhounds can make sure that $15 lunch isn't a waste of money. So, really, it pays for itself.
