Looking for real charcoal in Brooklyn (not briquettes)

Kenzi | Aug 3, 2004 08:02 PM

I have tried grilling with real charcoal and the taste is really wonderful; try it and you will be a believer. I found a bag of the good stuff at a Food Emporium in Manhattan. The brand is Royal Oak; they make briquettes too so make sure you get the right stuff.

Does anyone know of a place where I can get this stuff in Brooklyn? Even if it's a different brand, that would be great.
