Every time I go to 99 Ranch I look at the pile of oysters in the seafood section, right next to the sign from the FDA suggesting that these only be eaten cooked.
I like their price and their look. Of course, I want to eat them raw. Problem is, while I like the price, I'm a bit dubious about their holding environment and, what appears to be a disclaimer about eating them without cooking.
So, how many hounds out their have tried them raw and lived to write about it? How were they?
