Down at ground zero of the old Western Addition-Fulton
at Divisadero-along w/Eddies Cafe (breakfast served all day) and the no name liquor store opens last month an
upmarket Japanese restaurant. Hard edge red and black
motif looks more like Montana Ave in Santa Monica than
this semi-seedy neighborhood. Red Hot during the Dot-
Com Era was Godzila Sushi 5 blocks north. Non-stop action on a Monday Nite in Spring 2000 would feature
Land Rovers and chatter about "401 K's". A Friday
nite this year finds it half full.
Are there enough "boys in the 'hood" to support Tsunami
w/ its $7 boutique sake and $9 sashimi?
