Randall Grahm on Terroir

Frodnesor | Jan 15, 2008 09:21 PM

Some interesting meditations by Bonny Doon's irrepressible Randall Grahm on the nature and achievement of terroir (along with some pretty hippy-dippy stuff on biodynamic methods) ->

On a related note, perhaps with the "doon-sizing" he's starting to get his mojo back. After several years of disappointingly mediocre wines, I've had a few good wines from Bonny Doon recently. Last Cigare Volant I had was nice (though not good enough to justify the price, more like a decent $15 CDR), last Cigare Blanc I had was nice, and the "Le Vol de Anges" sweetie was quite good.
