Please forgive me for this extremely vague question. If you were to choose one dish - anything - that best expresses the essence of the Jean Talon market, what would it be? You can use any/all ingredients available from any/all vendors or stores in the market. I, personally, cannot ignore Fromagerie Hamel, but also can't ignore the Moroccan stores and the bakeries and the produce and the Italian store....any ideas? Stream of consciousness replies most welcome.
