Questions about Seafood Village and King Crab (again)

David Kahn | Jun 30, 2006 12:32 AM

I'm venturing out to the SGV again for more live king crab. Thought I might try Seafood Village, but noticed that Yahoo Yellow Pages lists three locations (684 W Garvey Ave. in Monterey Park, 9669 Las Tunas Dr. in Temple City, and 1463 Nogales St. in Rowland Heights). Are these three branches in a small chain, or independent places with the same name? Which one should I try for fresh king crab. Or is New Concept better?

Lastly, can anyone tell me how to say or write king crab cooked three ways so that I have some prayer of being understood by a waiter who may not speak English well?

Thanks hounds. Will report back.
