I want to make pizza this week but the recipe of the dough I want to use says the pizza dough will take 2 hours to rise. Since I work and get home 30 minutes to 1 hour before dinner needs to be on the table I was wondering if I could keep the dough out all day to rise (from 7:30 in the morning to about 6 pm). I was thinking I would just put the dough on the counter so that it would take longer to rise. Are there any health concerns with this idea?
Any other ideas? or is pizza only a weekend option for me?
