We were thinking about what wine to bring, so I thought I would ask - how spicy are you requesting the food, David?
Also, does anyone have a favorite pairing of wine with Indian food or any interesting suggestions?
We don't often have wine with Indian, my husband is usally content to down massive amounts of water with his Indian meal, and I have to be careful about not drinking alcohol more than once or twice a week. Consequently, it's not a combination I've thought about all that much and would welcome other people's ideas. My first thought would be Zinfandel or Shiraz, but maybe I'm completely wrong. Any thoughts?
