My boyfriend and I will be in Quebec City from Dec 29 to Jan 1 (after a 2 night stop in Montreal) from Toronto. We'll be staying at a B&B in Old Quebec and it would be nice to walk to the restaurant. I've tried to find places open for NYE but most websites don't really tell me... I also don't want to call anyone until I am at least in the province, since we're currently in Toronto.
I have been thinking of Toast, or Le Pain Beni, but I haven't really made an exhaustive search.
Can anyone provide me with more information, or some suggestions? I know the city isn't really a big NYE place; we're really just looking for a nice meal though!
I know that we are probably cutting it close since this is so last minute, but that's okay by us! For reference, I am still a university student so I'm hoping to have NYE be about $75/pp including drinks/tax/tip but it's not really a hard limit or anything since this is going to be our splurge meal.
(I know this isn't my topic question, but I'm also trying to decide if we should also splurge for APDC while in Montreal - thoughts? My boyfriend was thinking we should do one expensive meal for the entire trip since we are definitely on a budget and that would be NYE... But APDC just sounds so delicious!)
