Pulled Pork cooking advice needed

A 3.7 pound bone-in pork shoulder/butt followed me home from the market. There is 16 inches of snow, so no grilling. I can braise in a dutch oven, or I can low roast it uncovered, then do a long rest. Are the results of one method better than another?

Looking forward to pulled pork sandwiches and slaw tomorrow.
