So yesterday we cruised by 5th and Central in Downtown to eat at the Fisherman's Outlet, I've been there several times before and had really good (and very affordable: most things under $10) grilled fish plates and fried shrimp.
But the line at Fisherman's Outlet was very long and out the door, as usual, and we were pressed for time and saw the place across the street, Catch 21, with has a pretty similar menu, had no line, and we went there. We had a fried shrimp plate and a grilled yellowtail plate (both around $6 each). OK, it wasn't as good as the Fisherman's Outlet, but it was competitive, and actually it was decent. Did I just visit Catch 21 on a good day or is there some reason why the Fisherman's Outlet would be stuffed to the gills and the Catch 21 only having a few people inside?
