Pre-and-Post Marathon chow

A bunch of us are coming to town next month to run the Mardis Gras Marathon on February 27th-

We'd like to carbo load the night before, somewhere in the Quarter. I am thinking Irene's but hear that they don't reservations- but I've always wanted to try Irene's- I was also thinking about Vincent's up on St. Charles because that's another place that I'd like to try- any suggestions for us?
There will be about 7 of us.

Then- after we hopefully cross the finish line on Sunday, we'll be looking to celebrate somewhere fun, because the only reason most of us do this 26.2 miles is a reason for a feast afterwards-

We're all 30-40 something's and not skinny-minny vegetarian runners- we're chow-hounds.

Can you make a few suggestions for us- we're going to be scattered too- my wife and I will be at B&W Courtyard and our friends are at the Cornstalk and Harrah's -
