PORTLAND - Allergic to Wheat - Where can I eat?

Looking for a decent bakery in the Portland Oregon area that serves up yummy baked goods that are GLUTEN FREE. (I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue earlier this year. It’s a condition wherein a person is or becomes allergic to gluten, the protein found in wheat, barley, rye and oats) I miss decent bagels, pizza, muffins and especially bread. The frozen ‘rice’ bread at the health food store is not exactly up to par. It’s pasty and tasteless and melts if it comes anywhere near liquid. No a’jous for me! I’m tired of making my own bread as well. Little capitalist that I am, I just want to go to the store and buy it…. Sigh. ;)

Also if anyone knows of any Italian restaurants that might be willing to serve up a gluten free meal now and then, that would be great as well. I dream of pizza….
