My boyfriends mother is of French-Canadian descent and every year for T-day she makes pork stuffing to stuff the turkey with. It is heavenly and delicious.
She is an "old time cook" and doesn't really have any recipe for this written down and I was wondering if anyone had one with more exact measurements. Because we don't go back to her house every year on the years we don't go we like to make it for him (and me, as it is wonderful.)
Also, we don't cook it in the bird, which she does.
I have searched on Epicurious and cooks.com to no avail.
Here are the ingredients:
Sage bread stuffing mix (not StoveTop, but premade croutons w/ seasoning)
My boyfriend is good about helping us get it to the "right" consistency, but I always feel better with an actual recipe, since I am still pretty new to cooking.
