This may be the all-time cheap-ass thing in the world to ask about, but here it is anyway:

I found a jar of popcorn in the back of my fridge that got shoved there when we bought a new fridge about three years ago. It was pretty good popcorn when I first tried it, so I am not inclined to just toss it, but it is no longer popping particularly well, presumably because it has gone stale.

Is there any good way of refreshing/rehydrating it?

Or should I just bite the bullet, put it out for the squirrels, and buy a new jar?
