Pond- new restaurant in Radnor

DS | Mar 19, 2006 10:52 AM

Pond opened up a few days ago on King of Prussia Road in Radnor-where Passerelle used to be. The place has been redone very nicely--less formal than before, but still lovely, with plenty of room between the tables. Menu is contemporary French. Highlights from our table were the scallop and the foie gras appetizers, rack of lamb, and the desserts. Can't comment on the wine list, as they didn't have their license as of yesterday, but they graciously comped us with some wine by the glass. Cassis (less expensive bistro across the way) looked appealing--more upscale than its predecessor, although it was pretty empty last night. And yes, there are still swams swimming around in the pond outside. Lovely spot, good food--we'll be back.
