A Non-polarizing Damiano's Question.

Not too many folks are on the fence re: Damiano's Mr. Pizza and I couldn't care less whether you love it or hate it. I like, not love, it - but I have been getting chow from them for just under 20 years now.

So, my question is simply, who are these people? I know NOTHING about the Damiano's owners or the history of the restaurant. They deliver me (at a premium) pizza, steamed clams, canneloni romano, veal francaise etc, etc...

A little history/context/gossip would be much appreciated.
