Will be in Plymouth this weekend for a brief visit.
We used to live in Providence and my stomach still growls at the memory of the delicious, extravagant diner breakfasts in that area-- many in the old diner cars. Home-cooked, homey, and lots of character. And coffee milk, yum!
(I now live in Southern California where everything is in a strip mall and nothing seems homey-- but that is a topic for another board.)
Does Plymouth or the area have places like the ones I pine for? I'm totally unfamiliar with the area and will literally be there long enough to eat one breakfast, so I want to make it a big and satisfying one. We'll be staying a bit south on route 3A. Any advice? Your favorite place? The best things to order? (what NOT to order too...)
