My husband and I will be visiting New Orleans(3/17-20) for the first time with a couple friends to celebrate my birthday.

I've looked at some recent posts from others who've visited and have a list below. Also, looking for tourist sites I must see and Dessert places!!
Where should I buy pralines and other food goodies that I can't get in Calif?

Wed: Lunch-Acme Oyster House 724 Iberville St. oysters in half shell 1 doz $6.49, broiled crayfish (will it be in season in March?), gumbo, oyster artichoke bisque

Wed: Dinner-KPaul's Louisiana Kitchen. 416 Chartres St.
Th B-Mother's. 401 Poydras St.

Th L-Central Grocery-923 Decatur St. for muffaletta sandwich

Th D-Galatoire's, 209 Bourbon St. 504-525-2021. bbq shrimp, dress code.
Fri B-Elizabeth's, 601 Gallier St. $5 cab ride fm qtr. roast beef po boy, red velvet cake, bread pudding, fried chicken, hummingbird cake (what is that?)

Fri L-Central Grocery-again..hope it's good!

Fri D-Emil's, 1300 St. Charles Ave. 504-528-9393
Sat. B-Cafe Du Monde, 800 Decatur St. Beignet tourist must. I found Cafe Du Monde Coffee and Chicory 15oz at 99Ranch in Calif about $5!!

Sat. L-Bayona, 430 Dauphine St. 504-525-4455. Duck, cashew butter & pepper jelly sandwich, cream of garlic soup. Lunch M-F 11:30-2, Dinner 6-10pm

Sat D-Uglesich's. 4927 Freret St.
