Pizza Pie-er Moving to Cambridge

lipoff | Feb 1, 2012 04:10 AM

Pizza Pie-er is a little gourmet pizza shop next to the Berklee College of Music on Mass Ave in Boston. They also have a location in Providence, RI.

I just learned that they will be moving to Cambridge, on Hampshire Street in Inman Square (I believe right next to the Hess Station) in the next couple months (by March).

Pictured below is the medium Powerhouse Pizza (chicken, tomatoes and low-fat cheese) with multi-grain thin crust, spinach and black olives and a medium cilantro pesto sauce pizza with wheat crust, ricotta cheese and red onions.

They have four different crust options, eleven different sauce options, and even more different toppings include fresh mozzarella cheese, shrimp, and sundried tomatoes. More options are not always better, but in this case I really like their doughs, their different sauces, and the options for premium cheeses. I particular, I think I've fallen in love with their cilantro pesto sauce.

I also like their on-line ordering system (on Beauty's Pizza has an equally good system), they tend to offer lots of small coupons on-line, and they have a quirky sense of humor (check out the posters they have on their wall). I'm excited that they're moving to Cambridge.

Emma's, Beauty's, Otto, Pinocchio's, Cambridge 1, Gran Gusto, Veggie Planet and soon Pizza Pie-er will mean that Cambridge will be swimming in really serious pizzas!
