Just returned from the Pizza Factory on Greenwich Ave. The place was quite crowded with a number of people waiting for open tables early Friday evening.
Our salad was fresh and well prepared. The deep dish plain cheese pizza, however, was a major disaster. Cardboard cake-like crust, milky, sour-tasting cheese, and clumps of canned tomato chunks that were overly sweetened. We ended up leaving more than half behind. Obviously, more than one person in Connecticut enjoys this type of fare. Can someone clue me in as to why?!
