Pie in the Sky - NY-style pizza in Berkeley

Robert Lauriston | Aug 13, 200504:33 PM     6

Tried Pie in the Sky today for lunch. Tried a slice of the Sky special (garlic, feta, walnuts, eggplant, spinach, tomatoes, mozzarella, $2.75), very good if not very New Yorkish. I definitely prefer the crust to Gioia's. I'll have to try a slice of pepperoni for a proper comparison with Arinell.

2124 Center at Shattuck, right by BART. Current hours, Monday-Friday, 11am-10pm, Saturday noon-8pm, closed Sunday.
